Flooding and fog
We headed out for the cabin yesterday but weren't able to make it because the roads were flooded. It was incredible to see roads completely lost underwater, gazebos located in the middle of new lakes, rivers rushing up over their banks. I feel terrible for the people who are having to deal with the destruction and hassle of this flood, but I've never seen this level of flooding first hand and it was very exciting and beautiful.

I love the last two for their portrayal of the flooding but the second-to-last is my favorite. It stands on its own.

ReplyDeleteWow! Was your cabin ok or was it flooded too? I hope everyone out there will be ok. You're right that it is oddly beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness--these photos are beautiful and terrible at the same time. What a hard situation.
