We headed out for the cabin yesterday but weren't able to make it because the roads were flooded. It was incredible to see roads completely lost underwater, gazebos located in the middle of new lakes, rivers rushing up over their banks. I feel terrible for the people who are having to deal with the destruction and hassle of this flood, but I've never seen this level of flooding first hand and it was very exciting and beautiful.

  1. I love the last two for their portrayal of the flooding but the second-to-last is my favorite. It stands on its own.

  2. I am used to them for I grew up in the country where there are 26 typhoon in a year and almost all the streets gets flood.

When I was young those flooded streets were my pool.

  6. Wow! Was your cabin ok or was it flooded too? I hope everyone out there will be ok. You're right that it is oddly beautiful.
